Hi guys, long time no talk. Well, I am now in Portugal and by some miraculous act of God I finally got a decent connection here (34000 baud). Remember that I am on some random island with a population of less than 5000, which also happens to be in the middle of nowhere. I'm lucky I have electricity and running water. I have received a ton of scores over the past week and will post them as soon as possible. Unfortunately, my trusty ColdFusion isn't running properly and Frontpage is corrupted. That means that I am being forced to use Notepad to update this site, not exactly the most practical editor. As soon as I get a decent editor working, I'll upload the scores. Talk to you soon (I hope).

Hello. This will be my last update before I leave for my 3 week vacation in Portugal. Don't worry. I will be bringing my laptop and will hopefully be able to update this site from the Azores. Today I have a nice little high score update for you. Dave Shampaner has taken the top three spots for Tetris DX's 40 Lines game. Check out his picture here. Hi guys. Again, I apologize for the lack of updates. Things have been a little hectic this past week. 3 of my friends left. One went back to military school, one went back to Germany, and the other is visiting relatives in Los Angeles.
Anyhow, Jonas Neubauer from Redondo Beach, CA, has achieved one heck of a score on Tetris for the good 'ol NES. If you want to find out what that score is, check out his pictures here or jump to the high scores board here.

Hello everyone. A friend of mine (Edmund Balan) managed to get several classic Tetris games for various PC emulators and I have been playing around with them the past few days. Today I tried out the original Tetris for the NES. That would be the Tengen version, not the Nintendo one. I was pretty impressed by the variety of play modes. I can honestly say that I have never seen a cooperative mode in any official Tetris game before. I also managed to score pretty high as well (260,000+). If anyone out there has scores for this rare version of Tetris, please send them in.
For the next week, I will be loading up my laptop with all the software necessary to be able to update Tetris Lovers from Portugal. At first I wasn't sure if I would update or not over my 3 week vacation. I decided that it wouldn't be too much trouble as long as I could find a decent Internet connection. Heck, I might even post a few pictures from my vacation. Anyway, I have some work to catch up on, so 'till next time.

Hello. Sorry for the lack of updates. A few days ago I started yet another project for a company in Santa Clara called Ctek. This one is pretty massive, so I have been pressed for time. Tonight, I'll see if I can upload some more music.

Now for a bit of bad news. The Tetris tournament has been cancelled due to a series of unforeseen event that have been occurring over the past few weeks. I am planning another one is early to mid 2001 though. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Hello everyone. I have updated my affiliates page to reflect Skander and Chris' New Tetris site. I also added two more of their high scores to the Marathon and Sprint sections. I have also set a date for the launch of Tetris Lovers version 2.0. It will be October 6, 2000. I promise that it will be worth the wait.
